Another Friday Favorite

When tight muscles and unforgiving knots make warming up for a run impossible, I turn to Magnesium Chloride Flakes or Epsom Salt and the bathtub.  I notice a difference after just one bath, but it usually takes me 2-3 more baths over a 1-2 week period for the tightness to be completely gone.

To give this a try…

Pour 1-3 cups into the tub filled with warm water and soak for at least 15 minutes.  Since I use hot water, I drink at least 8oz water when I get out.

  • Magnesium absorbed by your skin can help relieve soreness, achy joints, and tightness.
  • Magnesium Chloride Flakes are more easily absorbed than Epsom Salt.
  • Magnesium Chloride Flakes can be purchased at Whole Foods.
  • Epsom Salt can be purchased from most pharmacies and grocery stores.
