Tuesday’s Hill Repeats

2 mile warm up

12 x 1 min uphill…getting faster throughout the workout

2 mile cool down

Feeling fatigued before the warm up made this workout harder than normal…

65 miles give or take a couple…(my GPS watch malfunctioned on Tuesday)

Cross Training Activity of the Week

Do hill repeats count???

I was so wiped out on Friday after my late morning track workout that I wanted nothing to do with being outside even if there was a pool involved.  The heat index reached 111 degrees in the afternoon… I replaced swimming laps with a cold shower.

Weather Report

Hot.  Humid.  Mid 70’s- Upper 90’s.  Thunderstorm on race day.

Gear Notes

My new shoes came just in time for the Millet Mile.

I replaced my old Tom Tom Running GPS watch with the Tom Tom Spark 3, and then felt the need to take an artsy photo (once again, this may be the heat).
