For the past three weeks, I have been building up my mileage in preparation for my second marathon. My one tune up race will be the Hot Chocolate 15k. This will be my first time running in this event, and I am excited to be competing in the elite field on February 3.
Three weeks later, on February 25, I will be in Ft. Worth running the Cowtown Marathon. I can’t wait! Both my 10k and half marathon PRs were set at Cowtown, and my goal is to add a marathon PR to the list!
This year, I will most likely skip the Fresh 15k as it is only one week after Cowtown, but I do plan to run the St. Patrick’s Day Dash Down Greenville 5k on March 17! I set my 5k PR last year at this race, so as long as I am feeling good after my marathon, I am going for a sub 19 5k.
That’s all I have planned so far! Thanks for reading! Like! Share! Follow! Comment!
And Good Luck to everyone running in Houston tomorrow!
Yes! Good luck getting that sub 19. I think you can do it! That’s an important goal for me too. I was close before I went down. I plan to try again someday.

Nice photo showing your typical fast finishing kick. I almost thought you were running barefoot in that pic.
